We are pleased to be able to continue to offer eligible parents and pupils access to free school meals by supplying supermarket eGift cards, that can be spent locally to you.

During the week commencing 22nd June, eligible pupils who are remaining at home will be issued with a £60 eCode, the equivalent of £15 per week, £3 per meal, for 4 weeks.

Your £60 eGift card can be used in multiple transactions and on multiple visits, until you have spent the full value of the eGift card. eCodes can be redeemed online for an eGift card for the supermarket of your choice by visiting freeschoolmeals.co.uk.

You will be aware that some Birmingham schools have started reopening to more pupils from this week. The council has been working with schools to agree measures so that more children can begin to go back to school to continue their learning in a safe and gradual way.

The most important principle for us is that the health, safety and welfare of children, staff and our communities is paramount.

Dear Parents and Carers, 

Following on from the Trust Board decision, and letter from our CEO Sajid Gulzar, Sutton Park Primary will begin a phased reopening to a wider number of pupils from Monday 15^th June. In order to prepare for this and ensure all of the necessary control measures are in place, our keyworker provision will be closed next week on Monday and Tuesday. (8^th/ 9^th June)

Before the half term break, senior leaders called the parents of children in Nursery, Reception, Year 1 and Year 6 to establish how many children were planning to return to school.

Dear Parents

We recognise that settling into a new school is a big step for you and your child. Our aim is to make this a very happy and smooth transition. We want to encourage all our children to reflect on the positive memories and experiences they have had in their primary schools and to encourage this positive mind-set moving forwards to this new and exciting chapter in their life. We appreciate the challenges that families are facing and want to provide as much support as possible. With this in mind, the Pastoral Team at PACT have been looking at the best way of supporting all year 6 children in these unprecedented times, with the transition to secondary schools. 

Dear Parents and Carers,

I previously wrote to you on 22^nd May with regard to the date a decision on opening schools to more pupils would be made. This morning, the trust board of the Prince Albert Community Trust met to make this decision. As I am sure you can appreciate, there are many things to consider when trying to decide what is best for our children, staff and parents in this situation. In all my years of leading schools, this is by far the most difficult situation my team and I have faced and making the right decisions for our school community has been exceptionally challenging.
